The original founding of this company was built on the products of corals and pearls that were discovered off the shores of Taiwan. The products we see today displayed at the storefront has gone through an intricate process of craftsmanship to deliver the most alluring pieces. The corals and pearls are first painstakingly harvested from the sea and then cleaned in preparation for the various artists to handcraft them. Every coral is handcrafted to a specific design, with larger corals often meticulously carved to represent a story. Like with many products, corals and pearls come in various shapes, sizes, and grades. Each coral and pearl has different grades and shapes desired by different customers. Lucoral and Luperal Corp. insures that a variety of their products is sold to satisfy the desires of various customers.

In the recent years, Lucoral and Luperal Corp. has dedicated themselves to preserving its culture and heritage. Two museums have been established in Taipei and Honolulu in efforts to educated and bring awareness to the art of corals and pearls. Each museum contains and displays the most mesmerizing of coral arts and jewelry, hoping that visitors will leave with a good understanding of the company’s history and an appreciation for the craftsmanship of corals. Lucoral and Luperal Corp. has also published a series of books and opened a variety of classes teaching students and customers how these corals and jewelry are made and how these products represent a history and a story. These books and classes teach customers DIY (Do-It-Yourself) jewelry making and design in the hopes of cultivating interest and passion for the art.

The Lucoral and Luperal Corp. is the pioneer in the art of pearl and coral making in the world. By opening the Lucoral and Luperal Museum, we hope that for all those who come and see the beauty of coral and pearl art, we are able to maintain and expand the importance of our heritage.
