Taiwanese Excellent Brand Association (TEBA) is a non-profit corporate legal entity created by Taiwanese businesses that have their own brands or their product was a winner of the Taiwan Excellence Award. Our main purpose is to promote Taiwanese brands, Taiwanese products of excellence, as well as to raise the international image and competitiveness of Taiwanese products.

TEBA was founded in the 1980s when Taiwanese industries faced pressures of international transformation and upgrading and businesses were relocating due to the rapidly rising wages of overseas companies . At that point in time, under intensive advocating from our honorary president, Mr. Stan Shih, and with the support of the Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA and Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the Brand International Promotion Association (BIPA, the predecessor of TEBA) was founded in 1989, and acts as a platform for local Taiwanese businesses for brand exchange and sharing of results, as well as assists in the promotion of government policies

In 2007, under the leadership of then-Association president, Tse-jen Hsieh, the Brand International Promotion Association (BIPA) and Taiwan Excellent Product Producers Association merged, integrating the resources and membership of both associations to transform into the current Taiwan Excellent Brand Association.

In the past 3 decades, TEBA has continued to promote Taiwanese brands as its goal, upholding the core values of sharing and reciprocity. Long term, TEBA has used activities, forums, publications, and other methods to promote mutual exchange and learning. We believe that it is our responsibility as a comprehensive brand exchange platform to use the experience of our partners as examples to learn from and collaborate to move more Taiwanese brands onto the global stage where their products can make their mark on the world!
